Paul Sandburg, MBA, PMP, CSCS
Paul Sandburg is the Founder and Director of Boost Health and TrainingBoost. He is a long-time student of wellness and fitness and has been working in the industry for over 20 years. He has a bachelor's degree in Human Biology, master's degree in Business Administration, and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
While studying human biology at the University of Kansas, Paul developed an interest in helping others achieve their fitness goals and became certified as a personal trainer. He really enjoyed sharing knowledge and motivating individuals to realize their potential. After finishing his bachelor's degree he began work in wellness program management for several biotech companies in California. He really enjoyed being able to continue to work with folks on their individual wellness goals while also being able to implement strategies that had a positive impact on the aggregate wellness of the organizations. Later Paul moved into several different population health management roles where he was able to help identify health risk factors in major organizations and develop strategies to address these risks.
In 2016 his wife got a job opportunity in Hong Kong which moved their family. Paul had to quit his population health job when they moved but he used this time to finish his MBA and then started his own business, Boost Health. His goal with Boost Health is to help individuals and businesses find wellness balance. In Hong Kong he quickly built up successful personal training and group fitness clientele. He also did corporate wellness presentations on various topics and launched a podcast.
After 3 years in Hong Kong, Paul’s family moved back to the US. In an effort to keep training his clients in Hong Kong he purchased software that allowed him to design and deliver personal training online. This was the birth of TrainingBoost.
Now Paul is able work with clients all over the world. He is really enjoying being able to help his clients get the best program for their goals, while also allowing them to workout whenever they want.
